Account Verification After Logging In To Pledoo
Pledoo runs account checks after sign-in to confirm identity, secure the account, and meet anti-money-laundering requirements. Verification can be instant or can switch the account into a “verification required” state until documents are approved.
Verification is required before the first withdrawal, especially if the withdrawal method can’t be matched to the account holder. The same rule applies if you request a payout to a different method than the one used for deposits.
Pledoo triggers verification when account details change. Typical triggers are a new email or phone number, an updated name or date of birth, or a change in registered address.
Large or unusual payment activity can also trigger checks. Examples include a sudden jump in deposit size, repeated failed payment attempts, or multiple cards/e-wallets used on the same profile.
Login risk signals can lock withdrawals until verification is completed. Common signals are sign-ins from a new country, a new device, or repeated incorrect password attempts.
Documents must be clear and readable. Pledoo rejects images that are cropped, blurred, edited, or missing corners, and it can ask for a new upload if details don’t match the profile.
- ID: Passport, national ID card (front and back), or driver’s licence; the document must be valid and show full name and date of birth.
- Address: Utility bill, bank statement, or government letter showing your full name and current address; issued within the last 3 months.
- Payment method: For bank cards, a photo showing the first 6 and last 4 digits with the middle digits covered; for e-wallets, a screenshot showing the account holder name and account ID/email; for bank transfers, a statement with name and IBAN.
- Selfie / liveness check: A selfie holding the ID or a short in-app face scan when Pledoo needs to confirm the document belongs to the person logging in.
Current status: verification is tied to withdrawals, profile changes, and risk signals after login, and it typically uses ID, proof of address, and payment ownership checks.
